What we collect, why, who helps us hold it, and what you can ask of us.

1. Who is responsible

XLNC VIP Ltd, a company incorporated in Hong Kong, is the controller of the personal information described here. It is the company behind xlnc.vip. You can reach us at concierge@xlnc.vip.

2. What we collect

When you request an invitation, you give us:

your email address (required);
your name;
the membership you are considering;
the programmes and jurisdictions you are interested in;
an optional note about what you are weighing.

When you become a member, payment is taken by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your billing details. We never see or store your full card number. We receive from Stripe the confirmation of payment, the plan, the billing interval and a customer reference.

If you write to us, we keep the correspondence.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

To answer your request and write to you about the membership you asked about. Basis: your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in replying.
To provide the membership, take payment and keep records. Basis: performance of our contract with you, and our legal obligations.
To keep the site and the form secure and free of abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest.
To introduce you to a licensed partner or programme. Basis: your request, made to us, for that introduction. We do this only after you ask.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising and we do not build advertising profiles.

4. Who processes it for us

Stripe, which processes card payments and holds billing records.
Cloudflare, which hosts the site and provides the form protection that tells people from automated scripts.
HighLevel, our client records system, where invitation requests and member records are kept.
Google Workspace, which runs our email.

We also use professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, who are bound by confidentiality. We share your details with a licensed partner or a programme only when you ask for an introduction, and only what that introduction needs.

We may disclose information where the law or a regulator requires it.

5. Cookies and tracking

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics that follow you. The form protection service may set or read strictly necessary data in your browser so it can tell whether a submission comes from a person. Nothing else is stored in your browser by us.

6. International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong and our providers operate in several countries, so your information may be handled outside the place where you live. Where we rely on a provider, we choose ones that commit to protecting the information to a standard comparable to the laws that apply to us.

7. How long we keep it

Invitation requests: until you ask us to delete them, or for 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first.
Member records and correspondence: for the life of the membership and for a reasonable period after it ends.
Billing and accounting records: seven years, because Hong Kong law requires businesses to keep them.

8. Your rights

Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, and under comparable laws such as the GDPR where they apply to you, you can ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Write to concierge@xlnc.vip and we will answer within a month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong or to the data protection authority where you live.

9. Security

We keep your information in providers that encrypt it in transit and at rest, we limit who on our side can read it, and we keep access to our systems protected. No system is perfectly secure. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
